Chapter 2 · Covered Products and Scope

Supplementary Statement · Primary Materials

Depending on the specific product model, Yowos furniture products are primarily manufactured using the following materials:

1. Engineered wood (plywood)

2. Bamboo

3. Solid wood

The above materials are used in structural or functional components of the products. Under normal use conditions, their structural stability and manufacturing quality are covered by the three-year warranty provided under this Warranty.

Article 3 · Covered Products

1. This Warranty applies to all products sold through the official Yowos website.

2. Any product purchased through the Yowos website that is indicated or deemed to include a three-year warranty commitment shall automatically be governed by this Warranty. If certain special products are expressly marked on the product page as having a longer or shorter warranty period, only the warranty duration shall be subject to such product-specific indication; all other customer rights, warranty coverage, and service principles shall remain fully subject to this Warranty.

3. Covered products include, without limitation, tables, chairs, sofas, bed frames, cabinets, storage furniture, and other home furnishings and related products designed, manufactured, and sold by Yowos through its official website.

Article 4 · Definition of Warranty Coverage

I. Material-Specific Explanations and Warranty Principles

(1) Engineered Wood / Plywood

Engineered wood is manufactured by cross-laminating multiple layers of solid wood veneers, providing both structural stability and strength, and is widely used in modern furniture manufacturing.

1. Material Characteristics:

Good structural stability and load-bearing capacity

Greater adaptability to humidity changes compared to solid wood

2. Possible Natural or Use-Related Conditions:

Minor color variation in surface finishes or wood grain over time

Extremely slight deformation under environments with significant temperature or humidity fluctuations

3. Warranty Responsibility:

Delamination, significant deformation, or structural instability caused by manufacturing defects, bonding defects, or material defects shall be covered under this Warranty

Minor changes that do not affect structural safety or normal use shall generally not be deemed quality defects

(2) Bamboo

Bamboo is a renewable natural material known for its toughness and environmental benefits, combining strength and aesthetic appeal in furniture manufacturing.

1. Material Characteristics:

High density, good toughness, and strong load-bearing capacity

Relatively sensitive to humidity variations

2. Possible Natural or Use-Related Conditions:

Natural color changes over time

Slight expansion or contraction under unstable environmental conditions

3. Warranty Responsibility:

Cracking, loosening, or load-bearing failure caused by improper processing, joining, or structural design shall be covered under this Warranty

Natural changes caused by environmental factors that do not affect safe use shall not be considered quality defects

(3) Solid Wood

Solid wood is derived from natural timber. Each product features inherent variations in grain and color, making it a premium furniture material.

1. Material Characteristics:

Natural wood grain, unique appearance, and natural wood pores

Natural responses to environmental temperature and humidity changes

2. Possible Natural or Use-Related Conditions:

Variations in grain, knots, and color depth

Slight expansion, contraction, or fine cracks due to seasonal or climatic changes

3. Warranty Responsibility:

Structural cracking or damage to load-bearing components caused by improper material selection, inadequate drying, or manufacturing defects shall be covered under this Warranty

Natural textures or reasonable variations that do not affect structural safety or functional use shall not be considered quality defects

II. Unified Warranty Principles

1. “Normal use conditions” refer to use in accordance with the product instructions, reasonable indoor environments, and general furniture usage standards.

2. Structural or functional failures caused by manufacturing defects, materials not conforming to design requirements, or workmanship issues shall be covered by Yowos in accordance with this Warranty.

3. For natural changes arising from inherent material properties under reasonable use conditions, Yowos will conduct a professional assessment and, where product safety and essential functionality are not affected, provide reasonable explanations, usage guidance, or necessary support.

During the warranty period, if the product exhibits any of the following quality issues under normal use conditions, Yowos shall provide warranty services pursuant to this Warranty:

1. Structural damage: frame breakage, cracking, or load-bearing structural failure

2. Manufacturing defects: defective welding, material defects, production workmanship issues, or missing/damaged hardware components

3. Functional failure: inability to use the product or significant functional impairment during normal use

Chapter 3 · Warranty Period

Article 5 · Warranty Duration

1. Eligible products are covered by a three (3) year limited warranty commencing from the date the Customer actually receives the product.

2. The warranty period shall be determined based on the delivery date recorded by the logistics system or valid proof of receipt provided by the Customer.

Article 6 · Independence of Warranty Period

· Replacement of parts, repair services, or product replacement shall not automatically extend the original warranty period unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing by Yowos.

Chapter 4 · Warranty Service Variations

Article 7 · Service Method Variations

Without affecting the Customer’s warranty rights, Yowos may adopt one or more of the following methods when performing warranty services:

· Processing of warranty-related parts or replacement components generally requires 3 to 35 days, with specific timelines reasonably determined based on issue complexity, part type, and production or allocation conditions;

· Local replacement or remote repair guidance;

· In special circumstances, full product replacement or refund through mutual consultation.

Yowos shall select a reasonable solution that minimizes inconvenience to the Customer based on inventory availability, logistics feasibility, and the Customer’s location.

Chapter 5 · Forms of Warranty Service

Article 8 · Warranty Service Methods

Upon confirmation that an issue falls within the warranty scope, Yowos may reasonably choose and implement one or a combination of the following methods:

1. Provide necessary replacement parts free of charge upon confirmation of quality defects in original components;

2. Provide remote installation or repair guidance;

3. Replace the product with an equivalent or identical model;

4. Provide partial or full refunds upon mutual agreement.

One-time reasonable shipping costs for replacement parts shall be borne by Yowos.

· Outside the warranty scope:

All costs shall be borne by the Customer.

Article 10 · Exclusions

This Warranty does not cover the following circumstances:

1. Damage caused by human factors, misuse, or abuse;

2. Failure to install, use, or maintain the product in accordance with the product instructions or official installation guidelines, where such improper conduct is reasonably proven to have a direct causal relationship with the issue;

3. Customer self-assembly performed in accordance with the product instructions, provided that original structural safety is not affected and no unnecessary modifications are made, shall not be deemed unauthorized disassembly; however, unauthorized structural modifications, disassembly beyond the scope of the instructions, or repairs performed by non-authorized personnel are excluded;

4. Normal wear and tear or aesthetic changes (such as surface scratches or natural material aging) that do not affect structural safety or essential functionality;

5. Natural changes inherent to wood, bamboo, or other natural materials (such as reasonable color variation, grain differences, slight deformation, or fine cracks) that do not affect product safety or normal use;

6. Effects caused by extreme or abnormal usage environments, including but not limited to:

Prolonged exposure to excessively dry or humid conditions;

Non-indoor use or exposure to rain or direct sunlight;

Proximity to strong heat sources or prolonged high-temperature environments;

7. Force majeure events, including but not limited to fire, flood, or earthquake.

Burden of Proof and Assessment: Where a product issue may involve both installation-related factors and product quality factors, Yowos shall conduct a comprehensive assessment based on materials provided by the Customer, product structural characteristics, and reasonable technical judgment. Where it cannot be reasonably proven that the issue was directly caused by improper installation, Yowos shall not deny a reasonable warranty claim solely on the grounds of installation.
